Sometimes baking soda may cause a rash. If this happens, we recommend switching to our sensitive formula or alternating between the two formulas. You can also use the sensitive formula as a primer followed by the original for more effective odor protection.

The answer is, NO. Our Push-Up tube is anodized to prevent any interaction with the formula at all. This process seals the metal to protect the tube, as well as our formula. We have done the research AND the testing…our Push Up tube has been deemed to be a super safe, clean and eco-friendly form of packaging, that we can proudly say is PLASTIC-FREE!

Aluminum salts are what we want to steer clear of in our deodorant. Aluminum salts are laboratory made additives that actually clog pores to inhibit sweating, aka. Antiperspirants. Our formulas are ALWAYS free of aluminum salts!

After you have used up your deo in your Push-Up, just toss the metal tube and cap into
your Curbside Recycling Bin. The cork bottom can be Backyard Composted (we
recommend breaking it into small pieces for quicker breakdown), or you can put it in your
regular trash, as it is natural cork and WILL decompose over time.

When it’s time for a new refill, your subscription will deliver straight to your door in a reusable and recyclable box. Insert your new refill and toss the empty one back in the box, seal with paper tape (included in box) and attach the enclosed return label. Then pop it into your mailbox for USPS to pick up.

Through this process, we are limiting CO2 emissions as much as possible- making it easy for a postal worker already en route to transport your empty insert back to us to clean, sanitize and put back into use.

There is one small trick you can try which is to put a bit of pressure on the top of the deo, while you turn the bottom to advance it. This should disengage the mechanism if it was to have gotten locked into place. If this does not work, we are more than happy to pop a replacement set in the mail to you.
